About S.kylar
S.kylar is a 26 year old (May 15, 1990) ex-prodigy who was involved in a major car accident and damaged partial of her brain causing her to be diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder as well as Capgras Delusion. S.kylar is made up of two different identities, Sky and Kylar, the duo of the mass killing in Ashley, Kansas.
Dissociative Identity Disorder
Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), which can also be known as Multiple Personality Disorder, is an extremely complicated psychological disorder where the specific person will showcase two or more identities/personalities rather than having one. Each identity are the alter to the original one, the identity may have a different age, sex or race. When the alter takes over, which can be called "switching", it can take from seconds, minutes to days. DID can be dangerous at some point, which may harm others in a way due to the personality and identity change. There are symptoms of DID such as: depression, mood swings, suicidal tendencies, sleep disorders, anxiety, hallucinations, and many more.
Capgras Delusion
Capgras Delusion is a disorder where the specific patient will hold a delusion of believing that a close relative is being replaced by a completely identical looking impostor. Delusions like these may be due to the reason of a brain injury/damage or dementia. Capgras Delusion can also be extremely dangerous to others where the patient may attack them physically. Capgras Delusion occurs more frequently in females.
S.kylar's Story
In S.kylar's case, she has an alter named Kylar who is "believably" a 18 year old aggressive male. There are not much backstory about Kylar but wanting revenge. When Sky was 15, she was involved in a major car accident which had partial of her brain damaged, mainly the Fusiform Gyrus (identification part of the brain), which caused her to unable to recognise anyone around her. Sky kept believing that her family wasn't real and ended up killing all of her family members because she believed that her family members had been replaced by impostors. As time goes by, Sky developed Dissociative Identity Disorder at the age of 18, on the day Kylar was murdered brutally by a mysterious man. Sky slowly developed visions that turns out being predictions of the future.
Sky predicted the disappearance of Ashley, Kansas days before it even happened, when she tried helping, Kylar decided to take over and burn down the entire town for revenge.
